Presentation of the CASTLE Project at the Applied University of Neuss

German-Polish Workshop on „Excellence in Logistics“ – Results of the CASTLE project

On August 25th at the Applied University for International Economics of Neuss Mr. Tomasz Janiak hosted a workshop on practical examples and trends in logistics in Eastern Europe. The workshop was part of the Interreg IVC project CASTLE (Cooperation Among SMEs Toward Logistic Excellence). The project was developed to meet the regional need for improvement of policies for the transportation and logistics sector. The focus is on small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). The project objectives are based on research findings that suggest that policies should promote logistical network and innovation activities of SMEs.

Mr. Janiak is head of department at the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing in Poznan, Poland since 11 years.
