Regional Workshop in Stuttgart, 02.03.2010 and 15.03.2010

In Stuttgart Region, the first CASTLE workshop was held within the meeting of the regional “Circle on Goods Mobility”, on March 2nd. Location was the lounge of Stuttgart Region, on the Stuttgart fairground, during the LogiMAT fair, which is Germany's leading fair on intralogistics. The purpose was to present and debate the best practices on logistics policies, as found in the regions of the CASTLE consortium.

In a second step, the best practices were introduced to a circle of logistics professionals during the national day of logistics on April 15th. This time, the purpose was to find additional logistics policy topics of regional interest, for which it would be important to learn about the best practices across Europe. The resulting wish list from Stuttgart Region has meanwhile been presented to the CASTLE consortium, which now will research those and other logistics policy topics in regions which are not involved in CASTLE.
